How does the revenue model work? Do you provide production funding?
No, we don't provide advances or production funding; we work entirely on a Revenue Share model. We offer our producers a net 60% revenue share. Your earnings come from two channels: the Subscription Pool and the Coin System.
How do the Subscription Pool and the Coin System work?
Subscription Pool: Subscription revenue is collected in a single pool. You receive 60% of this pool in proportion to your series' share of total watch time.
Coin System: When viewers spend coins to unlock episodes, 60% of the revenue from those coins goes directly to your earnings.
When will I receive my payouts?
PeekShort operates through the App Store and Google Play. Your share is paid into the bank account you specify right after these stores transfer the monthly revenue to us.
Who owns the copyright to my series? Can I share it elsewhere?
The work is entirely yours, and you keep the copyright. You can share clips of your series on social media as you wish. One word of caution, though: publishing every episode for free elsewhere will directly reduce your own revenue, because viewers will have no reason to spend coins on PeekShort. Sharing trailers on social media and sending viewers to PeekShort for the full episodes is what earns the most.
